Ever wonder how that
Massachusetts judge
who took your children
away and stripped you
of your house and assets
got to sit on the bench?
All judges were approved,
usually by unanimous,
vote, by the Governors
Council at a public hearing.
The audio for their
hearings over the last
couple of years can be heard here:

Tell It To The Judges! Before They Become One!

Sign up below to testify about your personal exprience with restraining orders, divorce, child custody and child support at the judicial nomination hearings hearings held by the Mass. Governor's Council. At these public hearings nominees for district, superior, probate and family  and supreme judicial courts are reviewed before their approval or rejection by the Council.

For the past four years The Fatherhood Coalition has attended these hearings to raise our concerns with the Councilors and judicial nominees about the problems faced by men and fathers by MGL 209A and related laws.  Although we have succeeded up to a point -  making our issues known - we need  more individuals to let the Councilors and others in attendance (usually judges and lawyers) about their personal experience with the courts and how they have been harmed by them.

The hearings usually run about 2 hours. We will contact you generally 2 weeks in advance to ask if you are available. You make no committment by signing up except to let us know that you are interested and may be available. You can testify for as along as you want but 5-10 minutes is generally sufficient.

The hearings are held on Wednesday either in the morning or afternoon, or both times if there are two nominees.

Feel free to contact us with questions.
