Download the 'Petition to Repeal 209A'

THIS PETITION EFFORT WAS CONDUCTED IN 2011. WE HOPE TO RESTART IN 2013. PLEASE CHECK BACK NEXT YEAR!

 

The petition to 'Repeal 209A' can be downloaded here in .pdf form.

The petition should be printed out without any change in size, black on white paper and double-sided, exactly as shown. Submit the petitions to the town/city election department for verification of signatures before Nov. 23. Remember that signatures on each petition sheet should only contain those of registered voters in one town/city.

Signatures of others, for example a voter from Quincy who signs a sheet submitted to Boston, will not be counted. After the local election department has verified the signatures please send the completed sheets to:

The petitions will then be submitted to the Secretary of State's office.
