otes from the public meeting of the Guv's Fatherless Commission (Commission on Responsible Fatherhood and Family Support), held in Woosta April 8:The presentation by the commission's Anti-Father Discrimination Reparations Task Force came as a complete surprise to the father's rights folks who made up the majority of the audience. The Task Force noted that a 90% mother-custody rate and a 98% DOR father-child support obligor rate are unquestionably proof of rampant discrimination. Task Force Chair Donald MacMaster recommended immediate implementation of the following programs for all court personnel and contracted workers:
The Task Force is still undecided on whether or not to include already-paid child support in the reparations package.
Ha ha ha. Okay, back to reality.
Just about anyone who is anybody from the movement was there, either as an invited guest presenter, or in the audience. A well-timed hit from Feminazi, Inc. could've set the movement back five years - but then again, would anyone notice?

The commission members present were observed to visibly shrink and turn color as the evening wore on. I swear Marilyn Ray Smith must've shrunk at least half a foot by meeting's end. She's Executive Director and Chief Legal Counsel of Department of Revenue, Child Support Enforcement division. Her main claim to fame is architect of the state's child support guidelines.
Ben Sawyer got to her first by lulling her into a false sense of security with his opening pleasantries, then turning on a dime and reaming her over the $200,000 of federal money earmarked for visitation enforcement that the DOR has hijacked. His own request for access to the money for a pilot program was flatly denied - the money-grubbing bean counters at DOR don't just want all your money, they want any government money that might have something to do with you!
Later on, someone suggested that Ray Smith resign from the commission because of her personal responsibility for so much harm to fatherhood. Me, I'm grinning ear-to-ear as Ray Smith is turning all colors of the rainbow.
My sources tell me that in prep for the event, one of the old-timers in the movement wanted to stage an "ActUp"-style demonstration once the meeting began. But you know those "movers-and-shakers," they're far too image-conscious to do anything that might - Gosh! - give fathers rights a bad image...

Bottom line: gratuitous father-friendly double-speak, no fembo-fu, plenty of pathos-driven testimony by "movers-and-shakers," and nowhere near enough outrage. You didn't miss nuthin'. |

Ned Holstein from Fathers and Families recommendation to boycott was received just as favorably. Ned said that the commission was going to claim that it took input from the movement, as justification for what was sure to be more vehicles to harm non-custodial fathers.
Well, I can only say that with the exception of Barbara Dafoe-Whitehead, this was a collection of people who either intentionally do gross harm to fathers (Ray Smith in particular) or are simply clueless, pro-feminist bureaucrat droids from government and the social services. Some male, some female, one difficult to identify.
