H4440 is this year's Gray/Cohen bill, now sponsored in the Senate by Cheryl Jacques. It has the same noble name ("An act protecting children from domestic violence in custody and visitation hearings") and the same vicious objective: snatching the last remaining parental right of unmarried fathers, while kick starting the next industry to profit from the tragedy if divorce: supervised visitation centers for men.

It was reported favorably out of the Judiciary Committee, with only one Nay vote. Thank you Chip Clancy. From there it went to Steering and Policy, where advocates finally caught up with it, and peppered the committee members.

Presently, it's been sent back to Rules. Write to Thomas Finneran as well as your local reps. Call your Rep. and Senator now and tell them you oppose H4440. Ask them what their position is, and ask them for a copy of the bill.
