What? No man to blame?

An important lower court decision has for the first time allowed a 209A defendant to have their listing in the Registry of Civil Restraining Orders expunged. The abuse protection order was found groundless and vacated by Probate and Family Court Judge Beverly Boorstein.

The original 209A was issued ex parte by Judge Judith Dilday.

This is terrific news for fathers. Those men who have had their relationships with their children destroyed, and incurred other personal tragedies resulting from fraudulent abuse protection orders, have reason to rejoice now that the courts have finally recognized the harm to the father-child relationsh....

wait!... hold the presses ...

False alarm!

The antagonists in [Doe.] v. [Roe] are both women who were involved in a lesbian relationship! The defendant is an attorney. The reason given by Boorstein why the existence of the listing in the Registry was harmful was that "the existence of a Registry record marked 'closed' may preclude her from adoption of a child and may preclude her from advancement within her career."
