Today, more and more men are called upon to defend their children not from a foreign power, predatory drug dealers in their communities, or other external threats - but from our own political and social institutions that purport to protect the family.
The assault on the family targets its most delicate component: the father-child relationship. This War on Fatherhood is waged by the adherents of a political philosophy that has evolved into a culture: victim-feminism. With an aimlessly spinning moral compass, this culture has infiltrated our social and political institutions. In particular, its manifestation as so-called "feminist jurisprudence" has blitzkrieged our legal system, threatening to permanently disable our precious constitutional heritage of due process of law.
Though the courts and legislatures occasionally point fingers at each other when attempting to disavow responsibility for this rape of fatherhood, they stand together as guilty co-defendants, since both have willingly embraced the invasion of the victim-feminist culture.
Focus on Fatherhood! intends to speak to this, the social crisis of our age. With the whisper of history at our backs, admit us as chroniclers of this movement in the making. FF! promises a candid forum, unrestricted by political correctness. Though we will strive to entertain as well as educate and inspire, much of what appears here will not be nice, because there is nothing nice about what is being done to fatherhood.
