Subject: Important announcement: Class action suit That mythical beast -- The Class Action Suit -- has been sighted again. If you are like most non-custodial fathers, you want to see the Probate & Family Court held accountable for their malicious denial of your parenting rights and persecution. Two attorneys, David Grossack (Boston) and Greg Hession (Northampton) are in the process of putting together The Suit, to be filed in federal court. Grossack has self-published a manual: "Introduction to Constitutional Warfare - A legal insurrection manual for pro se litigants" -- I like this guy already! Hopefully, this is The One we've all been waiting for. You have the opportunity to not only be a plaintiff in the suit, but also give input into its success. Grossack and Hession will be presenting the suit at the June 16 meeting of The Fatherhood Coalition in Boston. This is at the regularly scheduled meeting time and place (first and third Tuesdays of the month, 7:30 PM, 14 Beacon Street, First Floor Conference Room). You will be given the opportunity to question them. All aggrieved fathers are strongly urged to attend. We can tell you up front that you will need a one-page affidavit stating how your rights were compromised. You may wish to bring this with you. The struggle for fathers rights is just beginning. It is a struggle that must be fought on several fronts. We have recently had a success in the public awareness front (the Boston Globe's "Men on the verge" series). The battle in the legislature is in its infancy. The struggle in the courts has been building as more and more fathers are learning how to represent themselves hold judges' feet to the fire. Some are filing injury suits and are being offered settlements. The class action suit -- taking the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to federal court -- is a cornerstone of our struggle. At some point, we will make it so costly to "them" that they will no longer be able to rampantly trample on our Constitutional rights and the true best interests of our children. The Class Action Suit is a necessary step in this direction. This is not going to be a cakewalk, but let's all do our part to make the best of the efforts of Grossack and Hession. Please pass the word around and show up on the 16th. For further information, call The Fatherhood Coalition at 617-723-3237, or Earl Sholley at (508) 533-4893.
